Pete Doherty has been arrested on suspicion of stealing a car and possessing class-A drugs.

According to police, Doherty – who is due in court next week to review his 12-month community order - was detained in Birmingham last night (February 27), after being arrested along with two other men on suspicion of vehicle theft.

The Babyshambles star, and the two unnamed men who are said to be from Dundee, were also arrested for allegedly having class-A drugs on them.

All three have been released on bail pending further enquiries
