The cartoonist behind Gorillaz' animation has been nominated for the £25,000 Designer of the Award Year award. Jamie Hewlett, who co-created the group with Blur's Damon Albarn, is one of four nominees up for the annual prize, organised by the Design Museum, reports the BBC.
